A 1962 mid-century modern house, a pool, and a mountain that fills the window.
The Brewster House is a premiere destination for skiing, hiking, enjoying the country, or just lounging by the pool.
It was designed by the renowned mid-century modern architect turned painter George W.W. Brewster — a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright, by whom he was well regarded, and famed for integrating modern houses into the landscape rather than setting them on top of it. The house was completed in 1962. It has been lovingly restored and updated, and filled with original, local art.

Art @ Brewster
Brewster closed the firm to go back to painting.
He studied under Barbara Swann in Boston and developed a distinctive semi-abstract style. The house now holds work by artists near and far — nationally known, and known to us as friends. Read their bios, and please contact them directly if you'd like to see more.
